Since its opening in 1984, Chophouse Band Practice Studios served as a raucous epicenter of the Seattle music scene. Presidents of the United States of America, The Posies, Sweet Water and Maktub are just a few of the noteworthy bands that practiced in the space.
In 2016 Chophouse Studios was converted to what is now known as the Chophouse Row building. In the spirit of keeping the music scene alive on Capitol Hill, Cloud Studios was created in the lower level of the neighboring Baker Linen building. Cloud Studios consists of 8 private practice rooms and a large common area.
The Overcast Room is a podcast recording studio conveniently located next door in the lower level of the Agnes Lofts building. It serves businesses operating branded podcasts and individuals of any experience level looking to bring their ideas to life.
